I can always tell who has been in the kitchen...

I don't know how many saw this movie back and the day, but there is a particular scene that I am reminded of on a daily basis.

The scene:

The little boy is sitting at the table (I think eating breakfast) in the kitchen. His mother is cleaning up after serving him. She leaves to go and do something in another room. As she leaves, you can see in the kitchen that all the cabinets and drawers are closed. The camera moves to the boy at the table, who now has his hands firmly plastered to the table. Eventually, the mother comes back into the kitchen and stops suddenly in shock/surprise as she views the kitchen. She finds all the drawers and cabinets wide open (which, seems to be something that annoys her...). She scolds her son and begins closing the drawers and cabinets. Finally, we see the boy remove his hands from the table where his hands have left sweaty palm prints.

(I apologize for the pixilation.. not a popular movie still to find in google images it seems)

One could come into our kitchen at certain times of the day and find a similar scene. Granted, my sweaty palm prints on the table are not from being freaked out of my mind by some supernatural experience, but rather out of annoyance caused by my OCD need to have everything as my mind perceives it should be.

The culprit. Michael. Sometimes, I think he thinks it is a game now. Yar!!

  1. That's hilarious. Our cupboards are always slightly open, but that's because they need replacing. . . It's on the list.
