The Girls...

I'm pretty sure I haven't posted any pictures of the girls since we have been back in Utah. I'll remedy that now...

We've gone to a waterpark this Summer, but haven't done too much else in the way of swimming (I don't have a car the majority of the time). The girls were a bit antsy, so we decided to let them out in the front yard with the hose. We attached a sprinkler head to it (that we found in the garage), but Taylor wouldn't go in it (so that wasn't much fun). We don't have a kiddie pool, so Mike did the next best thing and went and found one of our wider cardboard boxes to make a make-shift pool. He threw a tarp over the box and then filled it up. Go-Go us!

The girls enjoyed themselves and I took the opportunity to take a few pictures of the kids. Suffice it to say... my girls just don't like to meet eye-to-eye with their mom when it comes to my camera. And it turns out I didn't give a flying woo-hoo about the background overexposureness... woo!

Kaylee was really excited to find this moth...

Sometimes she poses well for me and sometimes she has a different idea of what I mean by pose...

Here they are modeling for me. I guess I won't be signing them up for any modeling gigs anytime soon...

So Taylor used to be my go-to girl for a great natural smile on command... yah...

She does great with the natural feel when she doesn't look at me...

This was Mike trying to get Taylor to stop tilting her head to the side.. She is mimicking the hand position he was using to visually reference his request to get her to STOP TILTING HER HEAD...

So I found some swimsuits on sale and thought I was being clever by buying a size up (usually their swimsuits barely last the season, they always seem too small). Kaylee's works great, but Taylor's is a little big in the bum area (works great with a swim diaper). So Mike decided to clip her swimsuit so it wasn't so baggy... yup...

And there they are together...

I love these girls. Happily they love me back.
